Subspace Ripples Wide

A small, fragile planet, held in the cradling arms of a subspace anomaly.

This one was quite fun to do. Pure chance generated this fractal in Apophysis, which was quickly rendered. Once in photoshop, I played around with it, adding the green overlay, the glow under the green overlay, and colorizing the blue layer. The real magic, though, was the atmosphere effect, which I learned from one of Greg Martin's tutorials.
